Organiser's Description
The newest addition to Epic Events' triathlon series is their only 70.3 event, and it takes place in Halton, near Lancaster. The swim is in the River Lune, with easy access in and out; the bike is a hilly 56 miles, taking in some of the area's best climbs - the roads are quiet and the scenery is beautiful; the run route is a well earned flat course out and back along the canal. There are food stops on the bike and the run course, and all finishers receive a bespoke medal, headscarf and swim cap.
