Wings For Life World Run

Cambridge

4 St Andrew's St, Cambridge CB2 3AX, UK

Sun 8th May 2016

Organiser's Description

Wings for Life World Run 2016 offers a totally new running experience, all for a good cause - to find a cure for spinal cord injury. Runners in 34 locations world-wide will start at exactly the same time and run for as long as they can. There is no finish line, a catcher car will start the chase 30 minutes after the race starts and speed up slowly until everyone is overtaken and eliminated. The last one running is the global winner. World Run GBR has moved to a new location for 2016 - Cambridge. Participants will race through the centre before heading out to the flat Fenlands surrounding the city. Open to anyone over 18yrs, from beginners to elite runners to wheelchairs users.
