Organiser's Description

Running with a beer belly has long hindered the likes of Big Daddy from winning the World cross country championships! Beat the Barrel levels the playing field! It's a relay race run carrying a 36 pint barrel of beer - first team to finish with an empty barrel wins. Teams are made up of 4-10 people. Each person must complete at least one lap with the barrel, but can run more, and can only drink directly from the barrel - no decanting into glasses.
Neither pedal power nor motor can be used - anything else goes. Drink then run? Run then drink? You're going to have to think to beat the barrel!
