Organiser's Description
Green - Easy Trails - Low Elevation - Not very technical and ideal for new trail runners with sufficient fitness to complete the distance. Also good for road runners transitioning to trails.
The Chilterns is a heavily wooded Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty , The changing colours of the woods throughout the seasons is wonderous to see, as are the sky reaching trees throughout the forest areas.
This is a great run from Beaconsfield Train Station onto Browns Wood, where the suburbs meets The Chilterns, Netherlands Wood, Sandals Wood, Owlsears Wood, Hodgemoor Wood all of them absolutely beautiful. On this guided social run we take the roads to the trails and across a variety of mixed terrain.
This is a social run, the pace will be steady and easy, we will run as a group where we will encourage and support each other around. There will be plenty of time for chatting, taking pictures and just enjoying the trails.
This run is ideal for those travelling in by train from London, it's a circular route and there is no need to bring a car. However, if you do travel by car then there is parking at the train station car park. at £5.50 for the day.
Elevation 883 ft (Approx)
Mainly flat, some small amount of elevation, limited technical terrain.
