Cornish Coast Day Run

Lizard Point, Cornwall

Lizard Point, South West Coast Path, Lizard, Helston, Cornwall, UK

Sat 12th October 2019

Organiser's Description

Join us this October, for a stunning coastal trail run from Lizard Point, Great Britain's most southerly point. This one day ticket allows you to take part in our Cornish Coastal Adventure weekend with a guided run from Lizard's Point to Porthleven. It's a stunning route along the coastal path. Along the way you will find out about the local area and also learn trail techniques from our qualified guides. There will also be a refreshment stop around halfway featuring local produce as well as a mini cream tea!

All abilities are catered for but you need to be able to run around half marathon distance, so whether you are a new to trail running, just looking to get some miles in an inspiring location, or smash out trails like a pro, you're in good hands. As with all Run the Wild events, it's a team event so you will be grouped with similar ability runners and led by one of our experienced Run Leaders who will route find and set the pace for you. We walk anything too steep and it's a good opportunity to get some trail running tips from our leaders along the way. At the end of the run there will be transport available back to Lizard's Point.
