G3 - no 3

Sat 1st March 2025

A person runs uphill on a grassy trail during sunrise, wearing a red tank top and shorts. The landscape shows a valley with frosty fields, scattered trees, and houses in the distance under a soft, glowing sky. A group of runners and a child jog along a forest path. Some are wearing numbered bibs, suggesting a race. Bare trees line the path under a clear sky, with a spectator walking on the side. A path through a dense forest covered in fallen autumn leaves. The trees arch overhead, displaying a mix of green and golden foliage, creating a serene, natural tunnel effect. Soft light filters through the canopy, highlighting the tranquil scene. Sunlight streams through the branches of tall trees in a serene forest, casting long, soft rays onto the forest floor covered in leaves. The scene is tranquil, with shadows and light creating a peaceful atmosphere. A wooden gate opens to a dirt path leading through a frosty field towards a distant farmstead. Bare branches frame the foreground, with rolling hills and a cloudy sky creating a serene, rural landscape in the background. Three people are running on a muddy trail through a rural area with rolling hills and trees in the background. They are wearing athletic gear and bib numbers, focusing on their run. The weather appears overcast, and there are fences and a gate along the path. A group of runners wearing athletic gear are jogging on a narrow dirt trail through a forest with sparse vegetation. The trail is lined with leafless trees, and the ground is covered in dry, brown underbrush. The runners are moving uphill. A rugged dirt trail with rocks and uneven terrain is seen leading downhill. A yellow sign that reads "CAUTION STEEP DESCENT" lies on the ground beside the path. Bushes and grassy areas surround the trail. The scene is illuminated by bright sunlight. Panoramic view of a sunny landscape with a dirt path on the right, flanked by a wooden fence. Trees line the path, and in the distance, rolling hills and valleys are visible under a clear blue sky.

Bitterly cold, driving rain. Rivers of water, thick mud, punishing climbs, treacherous descents…Wonderful! clear signage, friendly Marshalls and really well organised race, thoroughly recommend.
