Halloween Hash

Tring, Hertfordshire

Station Road, Tring, HP23 5, United Kingdom

Sat 29th October 2022

Starting at 08:45

Organiser's Description

Hashing is an exciting way of exploring the trails! Work as a group to discover the true route, a bit like a treasure hunt. A great morning out with friends old and new. It’s perfect for all abilities, as faster runners head down false trails whilst more leisurely runners follow the correct shorter path.

Halloween themed costume is encouraged! Traditionally a hash is followed by heading to the pub, so included in your entrance is a can of Run Wild zero beer to take away!

The event will finish around 10.30am. Reward yourself with a great coffee and post run breakfast at Musettes!

Location

You will need to arrange your own transport to the start of the event. The start is 15 minutes walking distance from the station. There are regular trains from London Euston to Tring Station which take around 40 minutes. Parking is free and there are toilets available at the cafe. We recommend arriving already changed given the limited on-site facilities. Accommodation is available nearby, please get in touch if you would like any recommendations.

Ability

All abilities are catered for, which is the very nature of hashing. We recommend you are able to run 5km, but that that doesn't have to be non-stop. It's a great event for those new to trail running as well as veterans! It's a team event and you will be trying to find the correct trail.

Accommodation & Transport

You will need to arrange your own transport to Berkhamsted Cricket Club for the start of the adventure which is only a few minutes walk from the main train station. There are regular trains from London Euston (every 20 minutes) which take around 30 minutes. The start has free onsite parking. Nearby Berkhamsted train station has toilet facilities and is walking distance from the main town.

Timings & Location

Registration by 8.45am at the Berkhamsted Cricket Club. Toilets and free onsite parking are available. We expect the club café to be open, serving hot drinks and breakfast. The event will finish around 11am.
