The Inverness Half Marathon and 5k are the perfect Spring races, following scenic routes with great PB potential through the Highland capital of Inverness.
These popular early season races follow a flat and scenic route alongside the picturesque River Ness, taking in many of the City’s icons. And a warm Highland welcome awaits all runners as they approach the finish line.
If you’re looking for a shorter distance, or are new to running, the Inverness 5k could be the race for you. Whatever your running ability or experience, we guarantee you’ll cross the finish line with a smile on your face!
The area is steeped in history, home to castles, misty mountains and, of course, the Loch Ness Monster. Activities in the Scottish Highlands range from challenging hill walks to kayaking, dolphin spotting boat trips to distillery visits.

Excellent course in an excellent city. Locals were wonderfully welcoming and if you run this one, be sure to make a weekend of it - well worth your time.
