Jurassic Trail

Bridport, Dorset

Marsh Barn, Burton Road, Bridport, Dorset, DT6 4PS

Sun 28th April 2019

Organiser's Description

The Jurassic trail is a visually spectacular run along the Jurassic coast that some would class as 'undulating'. An addition to the 2019 event will see full trail marathon added, its tough, very tough, and the cut off at 18.5km will be strictly enforced.

The runs start just next to Marsh barn in Bridport, and has three further route options: the 5k route follows the Jurassic coastal path through the West Dorset golf club and onto Freshwater Caravan Park; the 10k and half marathon runners then continue along the coastal path towards Burton Bradstock, on to the beauty of Hive beach and along the coast towards Cogden Beach. They will be treated to sights that are simply breathtaking, and should enjoy the final push back to West Bay and the views over the horizon to Lyme Regis.
