Agreed with the previous comments. Lovely and pretty fast course in the Kew Gardens (almost flat), and the free entry was nice. However, it got a tad tricky once you started running along the Thames. I'm glad it didn't rain that day as the mud would have been a nightmare. But overall, good organization, a good location, and a good race. Would definitely recommend.

This race is unique. You start inside beautiful Kew Gardens which is beautiful and full of cherry blossoms at that time of year. There is entertainment throughout the course along with a DJ at the finish line. The course is fast and flat and I used it as a great training run for my spring marathon.

A great day out especially with the free family entry into the gardens included in the race - from start to finish the event had the feeling of one of the big city events, lots of space despite the number of people there. There was a bit of a line for the toilets but that is to be expected, the toilets in Kew were open as well as additional porta loos. The route was scenic as promised and the finish line was electric with music, a fantastic medal, an event t-shirt and great bag fillers/snacks. I can't wait to be back again this year on the 1st and the 2nd to try and do both the half and the 10k!!

Beautiful flat half marathon running inside a Royal Botanical Garden. I ran the inaugural race last year and it was great. The whole family got to go back into Kew Gardens after which would have cost me £100 alone but this was part of race number. Great tee and medal also!

loved the race! Beautiful scenery around Kew and flat route down the tow path along the river was great.

An amazing location, with fabulous surroundings; however, despite being flat, there were lots of corners initially and then the long run along the Thames was not really wide enough for two way running traffic, in addition to the dog walkers and cyclists. The tow path was quite uneven underfoot too and would suit a cross-country runner rather than a road racer.

I was denied to drink a cup of water before the race started, in a very impolite and aggressive manner. Apart from that the finishing stewards were excellent and super helpful and friendly. Baggage area staffs were super helpful and polite

Beautiful scenic run, there was no way near enough toilets provided though, we nearly missed our start time because of the queues. In future there needs to be at least 4x as many portaloos I’d say. That aside it was a great experience!
