** THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED**

Held at the Watersports Centre on the scenic Caldecotte Lake.

The Milton Keynes Rowing Club Rowathlon is BACK. Bigger and better than ever, this event will take place on Saturday 8th October. It will challenge you to a 3km row on Concept2 rowers on the patio overlooking the lake.

Then a 25km cycle on undulating quiet local roads through Bow Brickhill, Aspley Heath, Woburn Sands and a loop through the beautiful Woburn Deer Park.

Back to the lake for a 5K off road run around the North and South Lakes

This amazing event is open to all, members and non-members alike.

How to Get There

Watersports Centre at Caldecotte lake is 5 mins off the A5. Drive to Monellan Grove from where the location will be clearly signed

Milton Keynes Train Station is 5 miles away. Journey time from London Euston is 35mins

Bike: 25km

Undulating route starting & finishing at the Rowing Club, and taking in Woburn Deer Park
Route is on main roads open to the public. Traffic will not be stopped.
The route will be clearly signed, with marshals where needed
There is a level crossing within a mile of the start and finish, which will be marshalled
Please cycle safely, follow the Highway Code and obey all lights
Dangerous riding will incur a time penalty
The route is provisional but is not expected to change
Following cycles are not permitted

Run: 5km

Off road around Caldecotte Lake on public footpaths and grass. Mainly flat with gentle slopes
The area is of outstanding natural beauty. Please ensure rubbish is not discarded
All entrants must show consideration for other users of the public footpaths
Route will be clearly signed, with marshals where needed
The ground is uneven in some areas. Appropriate footwear must be worn
Accompanying dogs are not permitted.

There will be no secure facilities to store baggage. Any unattended items are left at the owner’s risk and the organisers do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage caused to property.
