This was the first time I have taken part in any run like this, the whole experience was marvellous, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere on the day was very good with all runners being respectful of each other. I am now looking forward to the next one I have registered for in February.

After a lap and a bit of the half marathon they let the 10k runners out who get in the way and slow you down, then the 5k runners join that slow things down even more and you all Finnish at the same time. Probably wouldn’t do this run again.

Well organised and great support. Would highly recommend reverting to letting the 5k and 10k runners start first so that it doesn't affect the half marathon runners. It became very congested when we got near the start of another loop and the 5k/10k runners had just started. Lots of signs to stick to the left but the paths were quite narrow so didn't leave the slower runners much choice.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself at Aintree 1/2 marathon. Before the run was super organised and it was fabulous to be involved in the warm up. My only concern is that the drink station was only at the start/finish, which for a four lap race meant only 3 opportunities to take on water - could have done with another water station half way round each lap as I really struggled through lack of hydration on a very warm day Otherwise a great venue

Really enjoyed it, nice atmosphere, friendly people, well organised, good testing course, I ran the 10k, it was a very warm day but a little breezy, never done it before but I will return, many thanks to the organisers.

Aintree 10k. Really well organized event! From excellent email updates pre race, to registration on the day. The course was easy to navigate and the stewards were both professional and encouraging, especially given the windy conditions they had to stand in. Post race the snacks were great! All in all a great day!!

Aintree 5k. A very well organised event. Parking was very straightforward and there were plenty of toilets. Clear announcements for the start of each race made it run very smoothly. Would recommend. Will run this again on a less windy day!

Aintree half marathon. This was my first half marathon, the atmosphere was wonderful, staff were so helpful and encouraging. The weather was on our side and I enjoyed the route of the course. The event was clearly sign posted for, bag drop off, race number collection if needed, water given during the race. A wonderful day.

A wonderfully windy 10K. A very well organised and enjoyable event - not sure I’d like to do 4 laps for a half? Great atmosphere and course. I’d certainly do it all again. Thanks to all involved. Only thing I’d like is a specific medal or lanyard for the distance and year.

Super morning at Aintree. A really excellent event. Rapid and clear reply to email query. Lots of help with parking. Polite helpful stewards pre-race. Fun warm up. Good encouragement during race, esp. valued given blustery difficult weather. Nice post-race gluten-free food. Will happily go back for future events. They did everything to make everyone feel important.

Brilliant Race. I booked another race in error, completely my own fault. Find a Race switched my entry to Aintree with no fuss. Excellent customer service, especially Richard. Race was very well organised and fun. Brilliant motivation from all involved and top bling and snacks upon finishing. Free online photos to boot. I can't find fault with this event or anyone involved. Highly recommended!

First half marathon. What an amazing event this was for my first half marathon. The signs were brilliant, loved the duet playing songs, the announcer on the tannoy but most of all the marshalls were amazing and so encouraging. I’d definitely run this event

Great Event. A well organised run that was easy to follow. For my first half marathon I felt that the course was easy enough to navigate. It was also clear where I should be and parking was straight forward.

Well run. A really well run event - pardon the pun. I signed up because it was across the road from Aintree station; the announcements, signage and marshalling were great, and I deposited & retrieved my bag in the fastest time ever. Everything and everyone friendly. Enjoyed the course, too, and my favourite moment was passing the singer/guitarist giving us 'Dancing in the Dark'.

Run Aintree December 2019. Brilliant run on a flat course. The marshalls were fun & energetic to keep you pushing through, overall I had a fantastic time.

Great experience all round. On-site parking is worth getting there for, but still plenty available at 9am so no need to get there too early (for the 10k). Good to have a village there with coffee and food, especially for our waiting families. Enjoyed the 10k run, was concerned it might be be on grass, but the whole route was on tarmac paths. Hardest-working member of staff was out on the course playing a steel drum non-stop - thank you, it really helped to keep me going! Loved the live timing - never had results so fast. Slight issue with people milling around beyond the finish - more marshalls or barriers needed to allow runners to pass for their next lap and keep non-runners out of the way. Thanks for a fun morning!
