Sigma Sports Wiltshire Wildcat

Salisbury, Wiltshire

Netherhampton, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP2 8PN, UK

Sat 16th March 2019

Organiser's Description

An early-season sportive which criss-crosses the Medieval drovers’ trails for which the area is famous, passes through numerous Saxon villages, and offers magnificent views across the Dorset Downs, all in a day’s riding.

Starting out from Salisbury Racecourse, the beginning of the ride is easy going, before you face the toughest climb of the day early on - the climb through Donhead Hollow is always tricky as it’s steep and drawn out.. The ensuing sections take place on rolling roads, with the occasional peak here and there to tackle tired legs. Three distance options: 30 miles, 61 miles, 81 miles.
