Organiser's Description

This 4 lap marathon route takes advantage of the coastal route in Barrow-In-Furness in Cumbria. The course starts at Rampside village hall and ventures along Rampside Road towards Barrow. It cuts onto the 'Old Line' trail route, then switches back and follows the old line to Roa Island, where it switches back again to the village hall. Half marathon is two laps of this course. Second in the Tri-Island Running Summer Saunter Series.
