Organiser's Description
New for 2019, a demanding half marathon with approximately 1650ft of ascent, taking in landmarks such as Pikedaw, Malham Tarn, Goredale Scar and Janet's Foss - voted one of the Top 10 Secret Trails of The National Trust.
The route is undulating (hilly!) and incorporates a mix of hard-packed rocky trails, boggy sections, limestone rocks and grassy tracks. Fell running or trail running shoes are essential. The event has been organised by local volunteers, all profits will be donated to local causes. Registration is at Kirkby Malham Parish Hall.
