Tough Mudder North West Classic (Saturday)
Step Outside Your Comfort Zone. In 2020 we're bringing Tough Mudder Classic to the muddiest course in the UK. You're going to want to bring the whole team, because when you're waist-deep in thick, sticky mud you're going to need a helping hand...or ten to get you through. Add in more obstacles then ever before, including 10 new or updated, and the incredible Cholmondeley mud, and you've got a mud-lovers idea of heaven.
Then grab a drink at the bar, kick back with music, entertainment, test yourself with epic Tough Mudder fitness challenges, refuel with street food and treats, and you've got one hell of a way to spend your weekend. (Start times tbc)

Bag drop: If you don’t plan on travelling home muddy, you’ll probably want to bring a change of clothes. Stop by the bag drop tent to store your belongings while you’re on course. £3 cash or contactless, part proceeds go to our charity partner Help for Heroes.
The course is designed to be difficult and the terrain is at times muddy, slippery and can be potentially dangerous. You will be wet after the first couple of miles. You must be able to swim 50m if you attempt the Walk the Plank obstacle. If you do not feel comfortable about completing an obstacle, do not attempt it - move on to the next.
Running alone? We’ve got your back. In 2020 all events will have designated solo runner waves so you can meet other lone wolves, form a muddy pack and get goal-crushing.
First-hand event reviews from people who’ve been there, done that and got the breathable T-shirt, really help everyone choose their next event.
Write a review and you’ll be entered into a monthly draw to win a pair of running shoes of your choice from Pro:Direct Running.
