Organiser's Description

On March 4th & 5th 2023, join ‘Its Time Charity’ & hundreds of other walkers across the globe in our annual “Walk in Memory”, a fantastic event to take time to remember those we have lost & support the 15% of young adults who lose a parent by the time they turn 30.

“I lost my beautiful mum four years ago; however, a day does not pass by where I do not feel her presence. I am determined to keep her memory alive so that her inspiring testimony will never be forgotten. It is her birthday a week before this Walk in Memory too, so raising a gift like this to honour her is invaluable to me, Last year the online engagement & community feel was very warming”

March's “Weekend Walk in Memory” will take place virtually across the UK, Europe & further! It will be a weekend event where those taking part have both Saturday & Sunday to walk 15km, with friends family & fellow fundraisers. The community will connect over social medias with many live talks and posts over the weekend #ItsTimeToWalk. It's Time Charity will have a few locations released prior to the walk in Major cities across the U.K, where Trustee’s & Volunteers will meet up to take part together.

It's Time Charity was founded to support young adults who have experienced the loss of a parent, as well as helping their family, friends, educational establishments and businesses to support them better. 2023’s Annual ‘Weekend Walk in Memory” will focus on fundraising, in the following areas:

1. Development of online resources & toolkits to help young adults understand, process and rebuild with their lives after parental loss.

2. 1-2-1 support interventions with vulnerable young adults.

4. Peer Mentoring programs with Business Industry Leaders, Schools & Universities.

5. Group therapy sessions.

A big thank you for from us at Its It's Time Charity for exploring ways to raise Money & for taking part in our 2023 Walk In Memory. Every penny you raise on our behalf will help us make a real difference for young adults who have lost one or both parents.
