Winter Woodland Run

Ringwood, Hampshire

Gaddens Farm, New Forest, BH24 3DA

Sun 5th December 2021

Organiser's Description

Two distances of winter trail running events to choose from, whether you join us for the HalfX 4km challenge or the FullX 8km lung buster. You’ll get to enjoy totally off road, single lap trail running routes within the private Gaddens Farm Estate in the New Forest. The venue is hired for exclusive use by TrailX. So you won’t have to worry at all about sharing the woods with other users (except for the odd pony or other wild beasts!) whilst you enjoy some great winter trail running in the stunning New Forest surroundings.

As long as you’re at least 14 years old on the 5th December 2021 and fancy some fun winter trail running then you’re more than welcome.

A great off road run the, TrailX way!

Course Details

The trail running route for the FullX 8km course will head away from race HQ on a wide gravel track. Before heading out into the woodland and going on to complete the first 4km that will return runners to the start area. Ready to go on to the second half that is completely different from the first. Returning to the start area will provide competitors with a great opportunity to grab a drink if needed.

The trails for the HalfX 4km winter trail run event will be same as the second half of the FullX 8km winter trail run course. The 4km competitors will start once the lead runners of the 8km have passed back through the start area.

Runners from both distances will finish together so that congratulations and experiences can be shared!
