Course Description

The 5K course for the Camperdown parkrun combines sections through open park land, and wooded areas of Dundeeâ?™s largest park. The route begins with a short descent around the football pitches, before running along to the wildlife centre. The path descends further to the southernmost part of the park before climbing steadily through the woods to the west entrance of the park. Runners then turn back to the east, past the duck pond, and the golf course, before turning South, passing Camperdown House, back to the wildlife centre. The route completes by returning past the play park, through to the east woods, finishing with a short climb back to the start line. The run is simple to follow, for novices, and will provide a significant challenge to more experienced runners aiming for a quick time. Any runner dipping under 19 minutes at Camperdown parkrun should be congratulated!
