TACKLE THE FORMIDABLE BISON TRAIL RUN ON SUNDAY 23RD OCTOBER 2022

This outstanding event starts at the National Trust visitor’s centre on Dunstable Downs, with the most stunning scenic backdrop of the Chiltern Hills you could imagine. You have a choice of tackling one, two, three or for those who really like to test themselves, four laps of the formidable Bison trail course.

The 6.5km trail lap around Dunstable Downs, provides you with the most scenic vistas you can imagine alongside the climb of Bison Hill that is bound to take your breath away, in more ways than one!!
After the event you’ll be able to bask in the glory of taming The Bison with well-earned drink and food in the National Trust cafe.

Course Details

The course completes 1, 2, 3 or 4 laps of the 6.5km run lap .
Well marked runs on the National Trust trails around Dunstable Downs, including the footpath climbing Bison Hill. Its hilly….but the views are amazing!!

Minimum Age:
6.5km – 13 on race day
13km – 15 on race day
19.5km – 16 on race day
26km – 17 on race day

Race numbers will be collected at the the event venue on the morning of the race.

Prizes

Custom designed medal for all finishers!

Add a medal insert to commemorate your time; whether it’s your first race or a new PB! Available to purchase for an additional £8.

Simply add MEDAL INSERT on your registration form and you’ll be sent the insert in the mail shortly after race day, for you to apply to your medal and display proudly!

There will be a prizegiving to the top 3 male and female finishers in each race on the day

There will be full results on the chip timing website both overall and by category.

Health
It is important that you are fit to run and have not experienced any Covid-19 symptoms in the 14 days leading up to the event.

Race Numbers
Please wear your number pinned to the front of your top. The number will have a timing chip attached to the back. It is important that this is not folded, damaged or removed, as it will affect its ability to provide you with an accurate result.

Parking available – charges for parking will apply on the day.

Changing Facilities
We will not be providing a changing area, therefore please come changed and ready to race.

Baggage Drop
No – the start is close to the car park. Car keys can be left at registration for safe-keeping if required.

Toilets
There will be toilets available.

Water Station
There will be a water station at the end of each lap on the run route and there will be water available, self-service style, at the finish. All litter must be carried or deposited in the bins on the course.
