NEWCASTLE HALF MARATHON & 10K AT KINGSTON PARK
SUNDAY 14TH JULY 2024

We are excited to announce the Brand New Newcastle Half Marathon and 10k, starting and finishing at the Newcastle Falcons Rugby Union home ground – Kingston Park!

These ROAD CLOSED courses take in the beautiful countryside lanes around Newcastle Airport and Dinnington.

In Partnership with Newcastle Frontrunners- Newcastle’s biggest inclusive running club which welcomes all sections of the community, with an emphasis on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer + (LGBTQ+) communities and their allies. NRF will be using the event as part of their Pride Month awareness campaign to complement their other events in July.

**There is a 3 hour cut off due to road closures**

Course Details

Each mile is accurately marked out with distance flags and we have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and to encourage you on your way to the finish.

This race will have pacers to help you along your way!

There will be water provided at the 5k point of the race in the 10k, and at 3mi, 6mi & 9mi in the Half Marathon along with water at the finish. There will also be snacks & your medal waiting for you at the finish

How to Get There

There will be parking at the Stadium along with local parking facilities.

Kingston Park & Bankfoot Metro stations are both within 5min walk of the Stadium.

We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, all you have to do show you number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.
