Organiser's Description

The Hardwick Hobble is a six-hour challenge on a looped course around the amazing National Trust Heritage site at Hardwick Hall.

This event page is day two of a two day event, tackle the route in reverse on day two to earn a second unique medal!

You may attempt to complete as many laps as possible over the full six hours, or you may choose to finish just one, the choice is yours and you don't have to decide how far you're running until you're running! The course will take you around the stunning grounds of the Hardwick Estate, from the ponds and farmlands to past the house itself.

The route is still around 6.3km long, so 7 laps is a Marathon, anything more will class as an Ultra.

At Rasselbock we like to put on events how we'd like to have them. No stress, pressure and a great bunch of runners. You can decide on the day how far you'd like to run so there are no worries if you're having a "bad running day". Just complete one lap of the event and you're classed as a finisher and have earnt a medal.

Beautiful surroundings, very friendly team organising the event, tough but great route (just one long hill!), and great snacks at the aid station. Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the run at Hardwick Hall. Ample parking, great staff on site with refreshments & loads of snacks. The medal is also beautiful! Would recommend.
